• These Terms and Conditions, together with the Membership Agreement, govern the sale and provision of our services and form the contract between us and you.
• The price for the services is as set out in the Membership Agreement and includes any applicable GST.
• We require payment upon receipt of your order and are not liable for any delays in services if payment is not received.
• If we cannot obtain full payment, we reserve the right to refuse to process your order or suspend services.
• Your purchase of a membership from us indicates your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• You enter into a contract based on these terms and conditions on the date we receive your first payment, even if you haven’t signed the supplied Membership Agreement yet.

MEMBERSHIP:

• To become a member, you must not be in a relationship and provide us with accurate information.
• We reserve the right to decline applications.
• We conduct interviews and ID verification for all members, but we accept the information provided to us in good faith.
• We recommend that you verify the particulars of others for yourself, as we cannot guarantee the validity of the information we provide.
• Your safety is paramount, and we advise you to read our Terms & Conditions and take sensible precautions when meeting others.

SERVICES:

• Your matchmaking can start after your profiling interview and the necessary documents are received, including your approval of your Matrimony profile.
• Your membership agreement may include additional services to matchmaking, and it is your responsibility to request these services during your membership. These services will not be available after your membership ends.
• “Recommendations” are profiles of others that we put forward to you for consideration, based on your partner preferences. Availability of recommendations depends on your confirmation that you are still seeking a partner through our service.
• The number of recommendations depends on your characteristics and partner preferences. We reserve the right to recommend others who we consider might be acceptable, even if they only match your partner preferences to a degree.
• It is your responsibility to let us know whenever you would like to receive a recommendation. We will not normally supply further recommendations if you indicate that you do not wish to receive them.
• We may source potential partners from beyond our current membership and recommend them to you, but all recommended individuals will have been ID verified and interviewed.
• We guarantee to provide you with the number of recommendations specified in your membership agreement, even if we need to extend the service period to do so.
• Our guarantee is subject to no significant change in your circumstances or partner preferences after your profiling interview that would make matchmaking more difficult or impossible.

CUSTOMER BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT:

• expect all members to treat each other with courtesy and respect
• You agree not to harass, cause a nuisance, inconvenience, distress, or violate the privacy of anyone we introduce you to or any employee or agent of this Matrimony company
• You agree not to do anything which restricts or inhibits anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the services
• You agree not to do anything that deliberately or recklessly prejudices or damages the reputation of this company/ Matrimonial services Options Limited or any of its subsidiary /associated companies
• We are under a legal duty to supply services that are in conformity with this contract and in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act (the Act) if there is a problem with the services.

CONFIDENTIALITY

• You are not allowed to discuss or show any details of other members to any other members or non-members during or after your membership.
• The Matrimony company will hold your details in the strictest confidence and abide by The Data Protection Act.
• You must not disclose any information about your membership experience or the identity or personal information of any others we introduce you to, to anyone including any media outlets or share such information anywhere online or any website without explicit permission.
• The company can share your data with third parties for validation purposes and with other matchmaking agencies they liaise with, solely for the purposes of matchmaking.
• If your service includes advertising, you agree that the company can share agreed information about you for the purposes of advertising for prospective partners for you.

TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP:

• You violate these terms and conditions
• You don’t maintain contact or respond to our contact for more than 6 months
• You provide false information
• We receive serious or persistent complaints about you
• Your personal details or partner preferences change significantly
• You can terminate your membership at any time by writing to us
• No refund will be applicable unless we breach these terms or your consumer rights
• The contract is for the maximum service term with no pro rata refund for early termination

REFUND POLICY:

• No refund is given under any circumstances
• Once enrolled in a service package, cancellation is not allowed
• Your membership is valid for the duration of your subscription package unless terminated earlier
• There is no refund for any unutilized period of membership
• After your membership expires or is terminated, you will be unable to access any shared or saved information.
